  I holiday in Scotland every year and this is my favourite cafe. The food and cakes are delicious and the staff are really friendly. The scenery is fantastic; the cafe is located near an outdoor activity centre so it's right near the mountains and a short drive from gorgeous Glenfeshie.
  
  The shop and deli next to the cafe sell some beautiful gifts and delicious treats. Well worth a visit!

  I love Rothiemurchus estate and the shop but after 4 bad experiences in a row we'll not be giving the restaurant another chance. The place is nice and the food is good, they have a lovely selection of gluten free cakes but the coffee depends on which member of staff is on the machine. They have plenty of staff but service can only be described as chaotic. The final straw was when the manager asked us to come back in 10 minutes so they could regroup - the cafe was half empty... we haven't been back since.
